Original Räder Sponsors Stralsund School Team "Formula 1 in Schools" with 1,000 €
As a successful regional company in Vorpommern, Original Räder 24 GmbH supports local sports clubs and events.
The Original Räder team is proud to sponsor the Formula 1 school team of Stralsund School.
"We are pleased to be part of this project, which we hope will inspire other young people in our region of Stralsund. We want the boys and girls to achieve anything through hard work and an open mind," said Christoph Wanitschke, CEO of Original Räder 24 GmbH.
"We want the dreams of these young people to come true. It’s not just about being supporters - it’s about something more: it’s about heart, commitment, and teamwork, which we believe is only possible when people work as one. That is also what Original Räder represents," added Christian Bremert, E-Commerce.
Through this sponsorship, we show that we are committed to giving back to the region where we operate. It is wonderful to see young people with a passion for technology working as a unified team, despite their differences.
The Team Taco
Last school year, Charlie and Katharina attended the elective course "Formula 1 in Schools". This year, they were joined by Merit and Martha, and for the German Championship, Tom and Sebastian joined the team as well.
What is the "Formula 1 in Schools" Project?
This is an international technology competition open to students aged 11 to 19. They design, build, and create a miniature Formula 1 car independently, giving them insights into technical product development. They also gain unique experiences and memories by creating their own mini Formula 1 car.
Speed and excitement are the two words that come to mind when seeing this amazing little F1 car. Developed on a PC, manufactured using CNC milling machines or 3D printers - a truly modern marvel. The miniature Formula 1 car is powered by a gas cartridge. The goal, as in all racing series, is to complete the track as quickly as possible and at maximum speed.
Early successes included winning the MV State Championship, placing 9th at the German Championship in Bremen, securing fourth place at the Nordmetallcup 2022, and winning the special prize "Best Girls' Team". For the German Championship, Tom and Sebastian joined Team Taco.
